Cajun-Zydeco Zydeco Festival Cajun-Zydeco Annual Festival Set For
May 13, 14 and 15 at ( Headlining this year’s three day event
will be Chubby Carrier & the Bayou Swamp Band, Rosie Ledet
& the Zydeco Playboys and CJ Chenier
& the Red Hot Louisiana Band. Additional bands also announced include Leroy
Thomas & the Zydeco Roadrunners, The Porchdogs, Sean Vidrine &
Swamp Fyre, Curley Taylor & Zydeco
Trouble, Roy Carrier & the Night Rockers, Lil’ Malcom & the Houserockers,
T-Sale and The Bluerunners. . Additional
festival activities include gumbo cook-offs, daily
Crawfish Eating Contests, a children’s area, crawfish
races and arts and craft vendors. Large wooden dance floors will provide ample
room for dancers at both stages And of course, the
festival would not be complete without lots of live crawfish and plenty of hot
'n’ spicy Cajun/Creole food served by area restaurants. Tickets
are $17 in advance and $20 at the gate for adults; Children under 10 are
admitted free. 3 day passes are $30 in advance and $35 at the gate. Advance

Annual Cajun Zydeco Festival, produced by Bobby
Rodriguez Productions, will be Friday, May 13 5:30pm – 11pm; Saturday, May 14
